I wrote this for a friend who is having a very hard time, but I figured it might apply to many of you so I’m posting it publicly.
You’re driving fast in the dark. The headlights show just enough of the road ahead to give you a split second to know when and where to turn. There is no map, no forewarning, only a small dim light at the end of a tunnel that goes as far as the eye can see.
It is up! Gold star for bravery? Yes?
